I spent 28 years as a  teacher at Pope John High in Everett, Ma. I also served as SID for the school for 25 years and had a weekly article called "Pope John Sports" in several local papers. I have also had material appear in a number of publications over the years, most recently in New England Baseball Journal-a piece on famous Boston Globe and SI writer Leigh Montville.   I am now semi-retired. My wife and I live in Medford, Ma.
