Unanswered Questions About the 2010 Red Sox

As we get ready for spring training there are still a few unanswered questions about the Red Sox:

The Rotation:  What will happen when Tim Wakefield is 100%?  Will the team go with 6 starters or will somebody end up in the pen?

The Offense:  Will a team built for defense and without Jason Bay's bat score enough runs to make it back to the playoffs?

Mike Lowell:  How much will he play?  Will he be on the team for opening day?  Is he an insurance policy for David Ortiz?

Josh Beckett:  Will the Red Sox sign him to a long term deal before the season starts or will we be talking about his departure all season long?

The Rotation: Insurance. But again this isnt last year. 1 man tooooo many.

The Offense: Jason who? Oh yea the Strike Out King. The Red Sox will do fine, Second behind the Yanks or will they Slump? Jeter had an awesome year, that will end.

Mike Lowell: Who needs him, if it wasnt for his price tag he would not be worth more than 3 mil.

Josh Beckett: The question the Red Sox are wondering will Beckett be a 20 year allstar? Meaning is he the one to win 10-15 games 10 years from now? He seems to have gotten over his finger blisters, lol.

The next question should be, corporation: Does VTek have what it takes to put in 100% while have been kicked around and thrown to the sidelines?

Thats my only concern.

Lowell is the #1 question
It would be nice to lock up Beckett now and secure Josh, Lester and Lackey long-term... but why would Beckett sign before testing the market? Especially after seeing the deal Lackey got.

I'm wondering what they do with Lowell. I like having him as a back-up plan for Ortiz, but it will be messy trying to make Ortiz and Lowell share time... I don't see how they find time in ST to prove his worth and get a trade, so he may hang around until July...

I see this being a huge headache for Tito as long as Lowell is in Boston - if only because Tito will want to make sure everyone is happy.
