... They should Trade Mike and pick up Chone Figgins, Im not sure they will get Figgins but it would be nice. I like Mike BUT we need a better 3rd basemen. |

... Lowell is one of the best player of Red Sox Nation, and his injuries will definitely going to affect the Red Sox Nation drive to win this session and they need to find a suitable replacement of Lowell. |

... I'm surprised they would pay Mike $6 - 7MM to play for another team. If they trade Mike and bring in Beltre that would just be wrong. Both were injured in 2009, but Mike put up .290/17 while Adrian put up .265/8 in similar AB's. Their annual offense is very similar, but Mike's is better, and both are GG. Mike Red Sox and deserves better. However, If they bring in AGon, Mike will want to be traded to play full time and re-establish his worth, while on the Sox he would back up Youk & Papi. |

... I love Mikey Lowell...and would hate to see him go. One of the main reasons I didn't want King of Douches Mark Teixeira (other than him being offered WAY more than he was worth) was that it meant say goodbye to Mikey. I just hope if they are seriously shopping Mikey...that they seriously have a replacement who can even think of filling Mikey's shoes. The only person that makes it worth it...is Adrian Gonzalez. And if they don't trade Mikey, but just talk about it a lot...expect another spring training of the adorable Mikey Lowell talking about his hurt feewings. |

... First of all, what is this crap about V-Mart playing first? He's going to be our regular starting catcher from now on. Lowell still plays good third and still hits pretty well, let him play out the last year of his contract. I mean cmon, it was only 2 years ago the guy was the MVP of the world series. Anyway, I'd rather get a new third baseman than move Youk to third permanently. I don't think Youk would be great as a full time third baseman and if you do that, you lose utility. |
